At Stephen Barnett Jewellery I offer bespoke, specialist training in both traditional and modern jewellery manufacturing techniques.
My classes are aimed at enhancing the skills of jewellers with some prior experience but we are also happy to teach beginners.
I draw upon my 25 years of industry experience, both as a professional goldsmith and qualified teacher, to focus on the why as well as the how of everything taught; giving you the confidence, experience and knowledge to introduce what you have learnt into your own practice.
As I teach one-to-one, in person classes, I can tailor your tutoring to your specific needs and offer either set days, with set outcomes, or allow you to pick and mix your learning to create a class tailored to your specific needs and learning ambitions. I can also teach classes of two students if required.

Pick ‘n’ Mix Classes
You might want to have a mix of different setting styles you want to cover, or an idea for a stone set ring you want to make in wax and then set, or a design for a complex mount you need help hand fabricating. Or you might even want to learn to make your designs in CAD to bring into the workshop to finish and set with me, it’s up you.
